Volleyball New Coach

TU has named TU alum and former assistant coach, and former Alabama and UCLA assistant coach, Ryan Wills as the new head coach. Ryan is married to former TU volleyball player Evyn Wills (Bandy). Ryan is a good guy and Tulsa native and knows his volleyball. He played intramural with a group of us. Good luck to him and continued success

So this guy didn't even play college volleyball?! Seems like an odd hire to me. Or another money-saving hire.

Ryan has been coaching and around the game forever. He was able to be an assistant at UCLA and was also on Ed Allen's staff both here and at Alabama and we know what Ed was able to do here. If Ryan can recruit, he will be fine.
