Young team. Too many unforced errors. Cmon get the serves in! Giving away multiple points against top ranked teams.
Got to get better the first serve along with sets. Stuff that can be fixed with practice.
Got to give it to Coach Skinner with his scheduling. It will point out the weaknesses of this young team and have them ready for the conference schedule and post season.
They will be a factor nationally at the end and could really be good next season.

They should do one match a year as beach volleyball. Just truck in a **** load of sand and throw on the bikinis in front of a few thousand rowdy Memorial Coliseum animals.
The record may be misleading because the schedule was brutal. I think they played 3 of the top 5 and like 6 ranked teams.
UK lacks the big outside hitters they had the past couple years. They just don't have anyone that can crush it on a consistent basis. There simply aren't any big arms on this teams and come playoffs they will get beat early. Skinner has to bring in some big arms to go along with the really good Setter he has on this team. Grome can only do so much.
Everything seems be on the weekends this year. I enjoy watching them but they lose to football every time.
Looked their best today. Win 2 from Miss next weekend and no worse than a tie for another SEC title.
Open tournament play Thursday night against Loyola Chicago probable second round against Western Kentucky.

Loyola doesn't seem to be putting up much of a defense. Won 1st easy. Up 18-6 in the second.
25-17, 25-14, 25-20. They play Western tomorrow at 7.
Quite the departure from 2021. If I'm not mistaken, Cats Volleyball lost in first round last season. Six straight conference titles. Coach Skinner = genius.

I believe that a lot of credit for those 6 titles must also go to UK’s setters (not taking anything away from Coach Skinner). Four years with Madison Lilley running the show, and now two years with Emma Grome. Both phenomenal athletes, and exceptional at their craft. Go back and look at the number of times each has been conference player of the week. It’s really remarkable.
