Need a set of Walkie Talkies/2-way radio for use in the mountains, between two groups of people. Needs medium to long range, but doesn't have to be some extreme range.

Need to be durable in bad weather/storm conditions. Not necessarily waterproof, but need to hold up in condensation and also extremely cold temperatures.

Need to be expandable. I need to be able to add more units if need be, potentially up to 4. I'm not sure how this works, so excuse me if that's a silly request.

Any ideas? What specifics should I look for? What Brands are solid?

Wait for nano fiber coated with grapene. All you'll need is two soup cans wireless
That tech is still years away, at this point. The man specifically asked for EXPANDABLE walkie talkies and you offer up some crap like this? You need to take message boards more seriously, bro.

Just FYI when you go to Dick's or wherever to buy them..."2-way Radio" is the preferred nomenclature here.

"Walkie Talkies" is an archaic microaggression. Use that term and your privilege will most assuredly be checked by the sales person.

Let me rephrase that.....the sales person might not check your privilege.

They might instead take the box back to the employee restroom where Steve will wipe the face plate and antenna on his ******* and repackage the devices.

I'd pray for a privilege check because he doesn't shower often.

Ha, not with the snow on the ground. Can't imagine yodeling works with 3 feet of pow. But will be in a back bowl so maybe.
