Seriously, is the walking dead a show worth getting involved with.
I enjoy shows liken Supernatural all the way to smallville (old smallville). So I like lots of types, but just the zombie stuff steered me from it for some reason. I'm just not into them for some reason. To me its like the vampire thing, incredibly overplayed.
what ya think. Should I give it a shot?
TWD isn't your typical zombie non sense. One of the best series ever and continues to get better regardless of what some of the whiners have to say about filler episodes.

You mean 30 minutes then a bunch of commercials? The trailers for each of the last few years all make it look like the series is about to heat back up. Then each season has about 30 minutes of actual content, with the rest of the season complete filler.
AMC has an interesting line up coming up.
Besides Walking Dead, I like Hell on Wheels.
This. If you have Netflix, all but the most recent season is on there. And they normally add the most recent season far enough ahead of time you can watch the whole season before the new season starts.Yes, I would record the marathon they'll run before the new season begins. I just actually started watching last year after watching it from the beginning. You need to know the whole story.
Yes. It's the best thing on TV. Days when Walking Dead comes on aren't called Sundays in my house, it's called Walking Dead day. I won't miss any Kentucky basketball game to watch a TV show, unless it's during The Walking Dead.Seriously, is the walking dead a show worth getting involved with.

I even read the comics, and I pretty much hate comics.

That's the problem with most critics. They expect every single episode to be "to the max", but don't realize how shows have to set up story lines and plot twists with more than a 5 minute happening.filler episodes suck, but what the hell, it can't be "show of the year" every single episode. Thanks for the info.
Why the f*** is Morgan such a big deal? Rick met him, they hung out, and then Rick left. They had one more encounter beyond that. Nothing special about him.
Because he is an African-British actor with an American accent.
