I watched enough of talking dead for them to address it. They didnt have him in the credits for dying this week. The producers said Glenn, or pieces of Glenn, will be in upcoming episodes. Personally, it looked like Glenn being eaten.

I don't see how he can't be dead. I thought that was one of the more pointless deaths if it sticks.
Pretty devastating. I'm wondering if Rick loses his hand a la the comics.

Negan bashing him in the head with a bat however would have been WAY more shocking to the audience.... so who know's. My one thought last night was. Dick shoots self in head.... lands on top of Glenn.... Dick is dead while Walkers eat him..... Walkers don't "smell" Glenn under him.... Walkers get distracted maybe and start to walk away leaving a few eating on Dick while Glenn lies under him..... Glenn survives... takes bat to head next season.

I still don't believe it. No way they kill off a major character that way. And, usually the major characters killed are either mourned or invited to the "Talking Dead" following the showing. Neither happened. They are setting this up for something bigger. I say we go 2-3 episodes where Maggie and others mourn Glenn's death only for him to reappear again.

My opinion is that the Walking Dead execs wanted to stir up some discussion, a little bit more than usual. This definitely did just that. Now, how they handle it afterwards could be even more crucial. Hopefully the following does not happen:

1. Glenn becomes a "walker"
2. It was all an hallucination by Nicholas who was spazzing out the entire episode
3. Glenn did get eaten......

If it is #1 or #3, then the Walking Dead did a complete disservice to Steven Yeun. If it is #2 then they just did a disservice to all the viewers and loyal fans of the Walking Dead.

Although they did show Tyreece go under a pile of walkers once episode making it look like he was over run.
But he showed up later covered in blood showing he fought his way out. That happened in the comics too when he was in the prison. Still don't think Glen made it.

From that animated GIF. It's clear that that is not Glenn's front. Look at the tan fabric, that is the back of a shirt.

If Glenn was "officially" dead, they would have paid tribute after the show on talking dead. So, he is not dead yet. They did say that we would see "some form of Glenn" or "pieces of Glenn" in future episodes (as has already been stated in this thread).

Seriously.... Is this thread some sort of a joke?

Because he's surrounded by Walkers ripping apart a douche on top of him.

He's not dead. No way they wouldn't give him a ceremonial send off either on the show or on the Talking Dead. They freaking did that for the Governor! So why not Glenn if he were truly dead? If you watch when the camera pans out over top of everything, you can see Glenn moving and his head is near the bottom of the dumpster.
