I won't spoil anything either, but I didn't think it was great. Maybe I feel like every episode ought to be

Too much hallucinating/ dreaming. Consumed the whole damn episode!
What was up with the walkers cut in half and the walkers with a "W" carved on the forehead?

Well, usually we're critical of them for dragging things out but that doesn't really apply to this episode. So after all this time in and around Atlanta they suddenly drive 500 miles straight thru (in only a few moments actual screen time) without encountering another live human or having one single incident over the course of multiple states?

A very uneven episode. I guess I was expecting more. Maybe I shouldn't expect that though.

Didn't really care for this episode.

I did like that the very first scene was shoveling dirt. I assumed they were burying Beth, so that was well done.

The Noah scenes were horrible, I was rooting for a walker to take him out. Not the greatest loss in losing Tyreese, always had an uneasy feeling about him.

Didn't care for this episode, but it was probably about time that they killed off Tyreese. He was just about worthless of a character ever since they turned him into a big freaking wuss. Hopefully next week's episode bounces back.

I agree tyrese needed to go, he's been a stand in character doing nothing for awhile. But the seeing ghosts or whatever was too much of a time filler, they did it once and there was no reason to do it again.

It's obvious now they are headed to DC, not only bc rick said to michonne they were bit also bc Morgan found the map in the mid season final that had the note from Abraham that said go to DC.

Sadly I have a feeling they won't make it there for the remainder of the season or until the final. They're are going to deal with whatever was cutting the zombies in half the rest of the time. Which is ridiculous as another poster stated..they drove 500 miles from atl to VA without anything, now it will be a whole season to make it from richmond to DC.

I feel like the writers are kinda just calling it in.

I have defended the show, as its about character development, but getting to the point that I dont care about the characters.

I dont mind the struggles they go through, and dont care that it was a slow episode, just feels like the writers are just killing characters to kill them.

I thought it was a decent episose. It's obvious that they are going to DC. I hated to see Tyreese go but understand.

No matter how hard I scrubbed in the shower this morning I couldn't wash off the stink from that episode last night.

This show and its ****** writers are the ultimate try-hards when it comes to manufactured symbolism and subtext. Jumpy cut scenes and acid trip cinematography can't cave a terrible / mind numbingly boring story.

My wish for this show is that in the next episode, somehow they all get trapped and killed by a horde and then the camera pans to a hill where there's this dude just watching. He's all like "Damn, that was crazy" and then walks back to his camp of cool, attractive, interesting people who actually come up with good ideas to survive and improve their quality of life.

Just hit the reset button. Please.

It looks like in the next episode they run into a pack of wild dogs/zombie dogs and have to fight them off. It was good to see the Governor again. He was my favortie character in the show.

Very accurate, imo.

I heard James Van Der Beek is coming on for the last episodes, though. Should really bring a new and interesting dynamic.

Last night's episode was nothing but filler. There were a couple of important things that got pushed aside due to the length of Tyreese's death like:
Michonne worrying that they're all becoming savagesThe X's or whatever cut into walker's headsThe fact that someone took the time to gather up zombie torsos.
I liked how they did Tyreese's death, but they drug it out.

I think last night was my last episode of the Walking Dead. Even though I was only watching it to stay informed on how much it actually sucks, I'm embarrased that I even watched it this long.

Argubs and LEK nailed it.

It was almost a "closure" episode so they can finally move on towards Washington. It will be interesting to see how that plays out compared to the comic.

Still hate how they made Tyreese's character as soft as Charmin. Those teenage girls were less dramatic than he was.

Tyreese= a beast, monster, kills biters with bare hands while being surrounded by them
Tyreese=biggest ***** on the show, weak
BlueBleedingMarine=kinda glad he's gone, extra baggage(Otis) good riddance

Season 2: Boring....WoW
Season 3: Great

I thought last season was great. The trough scene, where they are butchering them like cattle is one of the most brutal things I think that has ever been on tv.

That being said, the writers just kill it, in a bad way. I get this was a set episode, but too much filler.

I agree about the sex scenes, the last attempt was that fat guy trying to rape Carl. Brutal

Episode was OK. Tyrese dying sucked. But more than that, its how he died. He was bitten by a stealthy ninja walker who didn't make a sound until it grabbed him; although normally you can hear them moaning from 100 yards away. Then the single walker overpowered a man whod killed walkers by the hoardes with his bare hands; while the same time walkers normally cant even overpower carl or small children. Its just ridiculous.

Even worse, the show is almost certainly about to do nothing for the next several episodes; if their previous patter holds true. Usually, the show premiers strong, then does nothing for several episodes; until the finale.

After season 2, it was painfully obvious the writers were dragging this show out as much as possible; even to the detriment to the show. Apparently this is the only profitable property owned by AMC, which almost certainly has much to do with the unbearable prolonging (apparently AMC distributed but doesn't own Breaking Bad or Mad Men).

I guess I'm in the minority, but I thought it was a great episode.

Still think it's a great show.

I just want to see some freaking plot! My god there's so much great material in the comics but they keep walking in circles doing the same old crap.

actually, I'm a big fan, have watched every episode since the premiere. Does that mean I'm supposed to think every episode is amazing? The show used to be awesome, and its sad the turn it has taken.

Agreed, I'm not sure what many on here are expecting. It's definitely a transitional episode, but still had quite a bit of action.

So far there has been about 4 1/2 seasons. If you take out all the worthless filter, there probably would be at most 3 seasons. I am afraid they are doing this to keep the series going for as long as possible and not worrying about quality as much as quantity. I would be fine with less seasons if the quality would stay high. Speed things up and reduce the filler and just keep it one of the best shows on tv.

Much better episode. Reminded me of the movie "the Patriot" when Mel Gibson said "dog makes a fine meal". Kind of cool seeing the walker hanging high in the pine tree after the storm. The new character is going to be interesting...friend or foe, hmmmm...

Thought it was kinda boring last night. Just too much stagnation. Glad they are going in a good direction with it. Next week looks like a good one.

What is Walking Dead doing with its black male characters?

I think Tyreese's only role was to babysit white girls.

Noah is a slow, goofy retard

Bob was a drunk (guess they couldn't make him a crack head-where's he gonna get crack in a zombie apocalypse?)

The preacher is a gutless turd.

It's BS that we can't get a strong black man on the show.

Well, in all fairness, outside of Rick and Daryl, the white guys on the show arent exactly "swift" either...

Maybe Morgan shows up and proves to be a strong character...a nice strong insane character.

True. Not the wisest group of survivors for sure. Darryl is the only guy in a zombie apocalypse who gets fat. What hell is Rick and the gang feeding him?

and haha on Morgan.
