Thank you Fair, and point taken. The latest-is-the-greatest line of thinking, recentivism/recentism is all too common nowadays. The criterion that I know of for induction to the College Football HOF is one had to be a first-team All-American, and Warren also being a Mackey Award winner, I don't see how Warren fails. That criterion is what has kept Lenny Moore from being inducted into the CHOF.
Time will tell. Tight end Heath Miller, who played 11 years for the Steelers. was a unanimous All- American in 2004, won the Mackey that year and was drafted in the first round. He is not in the College Hall.
Articles through the years gave suggested that If Lenny Moore were white he would be in the College Hall. He was snubbed on All American teams because of his race.

F me, Lenny Moore is not in the CFHoF? Really? I’m flabbergasted.

He's in the Pro Hall but not the College. It is a monumental injustice. Unfortunately, the admission rules require that you must have played within the past 50 years so unless they change the rules, he will never get in.
