Over the winter, I try to see some stuff on HBO, Netflix, etc.

Watchmen got some good reviews, but so far, I have seen three episodes, and it is without a doubt the weirdest TV show I have seen in some time. I have no idea WTF is going on, there are two separate plot lines, both of which are strange and trippy, but that obviously intertwine somehow that I cannot understand. At all.

Is this worth watching the rest of season 1?

I was looking forward to that but had to turn it off after a half way through the first episode. It was just a bunch of woke bullcrap. Try HBO's Chernobyl instead.

Chernobyl was excellent and terrifying at the same time. Recommend

Watchmen was the weirdest crap I’ve seen but for some reason, I couldn’t quit watching.

Have seen Chernobyl. Then read the book "Midnight in Chernobyl". Agree it was terrific TV, the book was really good as well.

If you like fantasy, try The Witcher on Netflix starring Henry Cavill (Superman, The Man from U.N.C.L.E., Mission Impossible Fallout).

Just finished watching it. Has a Game of Thrones kinda feel to it. I played The Witcher 3 game and Henry Cavill plays the part really well.

A bit of historical trivia, the terrorist group in Watchmen calls themselves the 7th Cavalry, i.e., Custer's unit . . . which holds the "distinction" of being the largest American military unit ever completely wiped out in a single battle. If I was a terrorist, not sure I would have picked that particular unit as my namesake.

OK, I finished it . . . and my review is basically that is 12 or 13 hours of my life wasted I can never get back. Got weirder and weirder, with a pretty silly resolution, e.g., giant squids dropping out of the sky killing 3,000,000 from an imaginary black hole. OK, got it, now back to the Golf Channel where I belong
