This is way off topic but I would appreciate any recommendations for places in lex that do car stereo sales and installation. Nothing crazy (I.e no subs, etc) just an updated receiver with Bluetooth for an older car.

Any help is appreciated. Yelp was not help. Places with only a few reviews or bad reviews.

might want to buy the parts online before you get them installed. I used to work at Best Buy and we charged $50 for the wiring harness and dash kits. You can get that stuff online for WAY cheaper

This was originally posted in rafters so it was off topic. Mod moved it. The question was about a gift I was thinking about giving. I am not into stereos and don’t live in lex so...eh nevermind.

It's pretty simple to do it yourself. I just put one in my son's car. You just buy a wiring harness that matches the car type and year and crimp the wires from the harness to the ones that come with the new radio. Took me like an hour to do it, but I've done it before in some of my old cars. Much cheaper than paying someone else to do it. Cost me about $20 for the harness and wire crimping fasteners. You will probably pay $100 or more to have some place install it.

Moe's Lukewarm Stereos over on Douglas Ave. Hours 10pm - 4am

Moe and I go way back. Tell him the kaizer sent you and he will throw in a free fake Rolex.
Yea, Moe on Douglass but lately he hang out near the tree streets. So it’s best to park on Hickory and walk to Douglass asking anyone for Moe as you go. Moe also running a special with the promo word Okkk, say that with a wink and Moe will hook op up with some thumping beats.
