Zig is the story of the year. He may get a chance to be on an NFL roster after this season with the progress he has made.

Smart decisions and hard work may lead to him starting off his life with a few million bucks. Crying and whining will leave those that left with nothing.

Boy was I wrong about him... and he’s from right the road from me. My brothers friend was his coach at Sasche and said he’s a quality kid, shows everyone hard work and preservence can pay off!

he'll likely be a FA pickup for some team and land on a practice squad but he's the kind of guy NFL teams like to have learning the system and ready to go when somebody goes down. I'll be shocked if he doesn't end up playing in the NFL. IMO, he's got a better chance of sticking around than Ameer had.

Along with injuries, Abdullah had fumbling problems. Unfortunately, because he’s one of my all time favorite Husker backs.

This is exactly what I said a couple of weeks ago. I remember seeing Jackson come in to clean up in the 4th quarter of the Spring game and he played like a man possessed. With all of the publicity our recruited running backs were getting he was kind of left out of the discussion and came in and took over
