I might as well start an unofficial-official game thread. I may only post during the first half, as I am currently at home, but plan to go to a sports pub to watch the second half.

Twenty minutes until tipoff!

90 seconds in and the 'Cats have missed at least two layups. Down 2-3.

Offensive board for the Razorbacks, and we're down 2-5 early.

2-5 with 15:24 left, and two FTs upcoming for Arkansas.

The 'Cats are shooting 12.5 percent, and Arkansas is shooting 22.2 percent. It's a clunk-fest. The 'Cats have the same deer-in-the-headlights look as they had against Rutgers in the first half of the B1G Tourney...

Well, SHAKE IT OFF!

So far we are demonstrating all of the bad things we do and few of the good things-- missed layups, throwing the ball away. We do have some steals. Hopefully the fast pace can wear them down.

Sounds like a pretty pro-Arkansas crowd.

'Cats trail 4-9, NU ball. 14 minutes left in the first.

Ashley Deary makes the layup and we're back within 3!

Keep in mind Arkansas borders Texas. Plus, NU has a pitiful fan base for WBB. Starting to get things together and playing well. Need Maggie to step up. Nia and Deary playing pretty well. Alex Cohen too.

The pace is increasing, and this is where the 'Cats are stronger! It's a 13-11 'Cats lead with 11:45 left in the first half.

There are some very talented basketball announcers...

The two doing our game happen not to be among that group.

Dugan, are you referring to the WNUR crew, the PA crew in Waco, or the ESPN crew?

He's referring to ESPN2. He's right. Discussing who their favorite "Friends" character is while the action is going on.

Aha. I've got ESPN2 on mute, but of course that means I have a delay: the radio is ahead of the TV.

Noah / Doc: Sorry to scare you. I was speaking of the ESPN2...not DocCat Jr..or whomever is doing the game as a student.

Down 19-21 with 4:10 left in the first.

Deary goes coast to coast! 21 all.

'Cats have given up at least 17 extra possessions to Arkansas (9+ turnovers; 8+ offensive boards).

Timeout--still tied at 21.

Arkansas takes a timeout, and it's 21-23 with 58 seconds left, 'Cats ball.

Urgh... travel called on Nia.

Foul on Christen Inman on the defense. 6th foul on NU.

Ashley steals the inbound and knots it!

Missed UA shot, and we're still tied at 23 at the half.

Let's go, 'Cats!

Great start to the second half. Gotta keep the foot on the pedal and not have one of our second half droughts

typical end of game collapse. The girls are absolutely gassed, playing basically 5 girls. It's gonna be close.

Very sad way to end a fantastic season. Poorly played game. Turnovers galore and horrendous rebounding and questionable decision making. Proud of the girls for a great season though.

I guess NU can't have nice things (in sports). Blew a 13 point lead by what appeared to be awful play down the stretch.

That was painful. PAINFUL.

Arkansas tried sooo hard to let us walk away with that win. And we couldn't take it back.

And I don't care if Coffey was fouled at the end. We were up 13 and the other team isn't exactly a powerhouse. We did enough to lose that and I can't honestly say we deserved a bailout at the end.

Great season to get back in the tournament. Hopefully the team and everyone remembers that.

Lauren Douglas injury was a killer for the Cats.
