WTH is going on with our BB teams? Have opponents figured out something? It appears the zone defense that LSU played at times yesterday was a factor. After yesterday's disaster, I was looking forward to watching a low stress blowout today for the ladies. However, I feel like our ladies will make adjustments and get the W.
Cardoso seems hungover from Brazil not making Olympics. Physically and mentally. Hopefully she gets back to form.
Watkins was getting absolutely abused. She looked like she was on another planet. She doesn’t need to see the floor the rest of the day, foul trouble or not.
Then why are there about four other 6"7 centers in the country and they do no have those stats.
We are at the point where anything less than a rout is considered hot garbage. Fans forget that even in the championship years SC had many close games and yes, losses. It happens in basketball. SC is in position to go undefeated in the regular season, not many men’s or women’s teams ever get to this point. Enjoy the ride.
We only beat UGA at home by 10 last season with that superstar squad. I think you’re right that anything less than a 20-point win against an unranked team when you’re undefeated and #1 is seen as the sky is falling. However, anyone could see today was hot garbage, especially on the offensive end in the first half. Turnovers and strips galore.
