um, no. you don't get an auto-NYD bowl game for finishing second in the east. Now, finish 8-4 or 9-3 then yes, absolutely.
Do you have a button that can end the season today?
I just find it funny that the announcers were talking all game about how we needed the game for bowl eligibility. I wonder if they are saying the same thing about 3-3 ole miss in that game over on espn.
I'm just worried about our Defensive Depth going through the season....I hope our D can last to get 2 more wins.
Yeah the east is garbage really. Hopefully we can beat the garbage in front of us and have a fun end to the season. We can finish with 7 realistically and that would be great for a pretty mediocre football team.

It's all about perception with recruits. All most of them have heard their entire lives is that the SEC is the best conference in college football. If Kentucky can get to 7 wins, then that will set them up for some really good recruits. Even if Kentucky can get to 6, it will certainly help them.
I totally agree. I just meant we have a fairly mediocre team and can have a fun finish. It would set us up good for the future and give the fans a bowl game to travel too and a little hope.
We can beat Missouri. If we can beat one of the better branded schools like Georgia, who is very beatable, then the fan base will be less critical and next season would begin with optimism and Commonwealth would be a blast. We have enough returning talent to have a good year next season.
I'm obviously happy with the win tonight. It puts UK in position to make a bowl game. I want this coaching staff to succeed in the worst way. I can see some great teams in the future with Stoops and Gran. When Gran gets a QB groomed the SEC better watch out. If Stoops can add a juco d lineman or 2 this defense will be great next year. A ton of talented youth on the roster.
