I know NU students don't go to our own games but it would be great if a couple of hundred NU students took the "EL" to Loyola to support the Ramblers tomorrow

If I wrote that Loyola is capable of beating K State they would then be certain to lose. A post like that would point out that it's going to be really important for the Ramblers to disrupt KSU's shooting....that Loyola's offense is built to move and slash against an excellent K State defense....that the physical disparity between a Kentucky and Loyola isn't nearly a great in this match up. A post like that would be more than hopeful, I'd start to express some confidence that the school that gave us Darius Clemmons...Alfredrick Hughes and Shoot First Sonny Liston should be favored. I'd probably write something stupid, like if that 84 team could keep it close against a Patrick Ewing Georgetown squad, this team can (rhymes with spin).

But I don't want to jinx the Ramblers so I'm not going to do that. The ghost of the great Gene Sullivan would haunt me forever.

Bruce Weber was missing his best player and had 3 foul out, yet outmaneuvered John Calipari to play for the Final 4.

That’s gotta sting in Chambana.

K State is favored by a point. How friggin' crazy is that for Loyola?

And to get over my skis a bit....it is not a stretch to think that Loyola could beat either FSU or Michigan on a neutral court.

I could definitely see them beating Michigan. FSU will be a tough match-up, bunch of huge men on that team.

This one scares me....KSU can play some defense. and they play team ball like LU...and LU does not have a bunch of shot creators......but I have worn the same socks, underwear, hoodie, t-shirt and pants to all 3 games at ARCH MADNESS and all 3 NCAA games and they are coming out of the dryer right now.
Interesting....One of Custers, and Richardsons high school team mates plays for KSU,,,, so 5 Kansas boys total playing in this game.....

Good to hear that you washed them. Hope you get to wear them 2 more times, after today.
