He looks better on film than his more heralded teammate, 5-star Carter Meadows. I guess it is all in the projection.

I read somewhere else that Meadows was ranked higher because of his size and athleticism. This seems to be pretty normal in recruiting. With that said, I’ll take the kid with a better knowledge of the game and will to work to be technically better more times than not. If that’s what Harley is, then he may have a very bright future

This is very good news. I think Franklin is still going to pull out a good class. All will be well in the end. We just have to remember that per the HVU director last year, our NIL strategy prioritizes retention over spending on new players. That will not lead to landing many 5 stars in recruiting or the portal season, but it will keep our players that produce like 5 stars. We shall see if that strategy works this season!

Great point. This is why we see guys like Singelton, Allen, Durant, Allar, DDS, DeLuca, and the OL coming back and putting PSU in a really nice position going into this year. They are prioritizing familiar, known commodities over unknown, unproven HS projects. Time will tell if it pays off. On the flip side, they still have to recruit well to obtain those familiar, known commodities down the road.

Reportedly donors really stepped up to put this 2025 team together. It is natty or bust this year. The roster is better than last season, even without Carter, but I am still worried the lack of an elite wr may still be the achilles heel of the roster. The wr issue lost the nd and osu games last season. Heck, Wallace caused an int that flipped the osu game. I have hope the portal wrs will be better than what we had last season.

Thank God I've seen no sign of Gorki on this board. He'd tell you what a moron you are. For the record. I completely agree with you.
