Pope does NOT have our guys ready to play at the speed we need to play at to be competitive! We are being embarrassed and OUT COACHED as well and that’s UNACCEPTABLE! Keep this up and he won’t last at UK

Brown makes a lot of guys look slow. I dont think it is just UK.
How come everytime we lose a basketball game it's because we've got "outcoached" lol.

UL was just better. They made shots, didn't turn it over and when they did miss got key offensive rebounds to continue possessions.

I agree, Louisville’s offensive and defensive movement was warp speed in comparison.
I think many of those traits come down to coaching and development.....
Players tend to be what they are.
If players have bad games, it's not always because the coach was "outcoached"
Pope has never had a good D. It's a problem.
I think they were just dialed in to win this one. I was surprised to hear, that it was their first home sellout in 2 years!! Louisville HAD to win this game. Their energy level was a good deal better than ours tonight. Hitting those first few threes, really got them going. Our speed looked just fine when we cut into the lead, late in the game. But again, stupid turnovers and bad decisions, kept us from having a real chance.
This isn't the end of the world, or this team for that matter. It's a rivalry game. It's about damn time, Louisville made it worthy of being one. Our dominance in this series is probably why this got moved to a Tuesday night, in November no less, in the first place!! We will be fine. There is a long season ahead. There will be ups and downs. Hopefully, they'll learn from this. That you have to do more than just show up for games like this. I'm only questioning what happened tonight. I'm not going to worry about the rest of the season. It's going to be a fun ride.
He had a decent defense in 21 but that was probably a product of a single player, Matt Haarms.
We barely try to force turnovers. That was the case with Cal's teams, especially the in the later seasons, but Pope's defenses have been especially turnover avoidant.
