Just don't want us instinctively rooting against Ash because of our resident village idiot.

Not rooting against him. Just wondered what he's thinking. I suspect he meant Falzon next season.
Certainly not based on what I saw tonight. Very impressive, high-performing team. IA is really young so they'll have those nights - especially on the road. However, it's not like you didn't thoroughly beat a team without some talent - e.g. IA win over PU on Thu.
At some point if NU turns the corner the team has to also intimidate others for future games.
We're among the top five in the conference standings now, and 6 of our remaining 11 games are against the other four teams in this group. Continue to play well and have a few bounces go our way, and we'll be in the thick of it.
The first step is beating all the teams you are supposed to beat.
The second step is pushing the others beneath you.
