Agree with OP.
Cannot stop a player driving to the hoop. We give up too many layups. Don’t know why CMP has not used the 1-3-1 zone some. Also our players catching simple passes and holding on to rebounds is poor.

No, just need to know their roles on the team. Maybe by their junior year it will grow but Pope needs speed on this team even on offense as far pushing the ball down the court. He can’t build a BYU roster and expect to compete in the SEC, you’re not going to out score every team.
