Too bad.OSU bound. been the story for weeks.
It is too bad, but I'm also sick of hearing about it, so bye Chaz.Too bad.
I think that he portaled after the Villanova game; he basically was an invisible player after that game. My guess is that his “injury” was a ruse.It is too bad, but I'm also sick of hearing about it, so bye Chaz.
And I remember Franklin raving about how "he is all in with PSU, no drama, loves the place."I think that he portaled after the Villanova game; he basically was an invisible player after that game. My guess is that his “injury” was a ruse.
In these days of college football, it’s not damaging and is totally expected. You’re basically losing a player who flashed against Nevada, FIU and Villanova and then disappeared because he obviously was leaving. Nobody knows whether he is a legitimate Big 10 player, and I don’t care if he goes to OSU or wherever.I don't see this damaging as some, This staff has a great eye for talent and he will be replaced very soon. So long, Chaz...
Buyers remorse. He wanted a OSU offer that did not come until last minute. Over time he rethought his decision. Good luck to the kid
We’re screwed.![]()
I think that Bob was being sarcastic as usual. Not even close. Penn State always gets many talented DEs from High Schools and the portal. Just check out the NFL rosters with former Penn State defensive ends.
Exactly. His “injury” was suspicious; the writing was on the wall that, in the words of Clemenza, you wouldn’t see him again.Buyers remorse. He wanted a OSU offer that did not come until last minute. Over time he rethought his decision. Good luck to the kid
Excellent phrasing, kudos.Exactly. His “injury” was suspicious; the writing was on the wall that, in the words of Clemenza, you wouldn’t see him again.
Yep, it’s been rumored for weeks that he was going to OSU. He didn’t want to be here anymore. He certainly has huge potential, and it flashed at times, but by no means is he a guaranteed success in this conference. Yes I wish we could keep Coleman, but there’s young guys that have high potential as well. I think Granville has the same amount of potential as Coleman, and obviously he got injured early in the season. Kemajou another one with great potential. Keep and pay the guys that want to be here and move on from the guys that do not.
He would’ve left even if Franklin had stayed, just like the running back from McKeesport in the 2027 class who already had two feet out the door even in September.Nah, you could tell he's going to be an absolute beast. This sucks. Granted, I expect most of the most talented guys to "explore their options," but it still sucks when it happens.
This could end up being a very rough transition. I hope Campbell has a plan and is able to execute it.
Apparently CMC's staff offered much more $ but I guess him and his handlers said no. Next men up.Asking price might be too much for OSU's liking based on comments on some of the OSU boards. I don't think he's an OSU lock.
That act is getting a little tiredI think that Bob was being sarcastic as usual.
Exactly, which pisses me off. OSU did not make him a recruiting priority. They thought he was too raw and just athletic, but not big enough to develop as an impact DE. Franklin and PSU did make him a priority and he came to PSU, got some college level coaching and flashed. Then, all of a sudden OSU is interested. How convenient. It’s like asking a girl to the prom and she says no. You go with another date and have a good time dancing with her. When the original girl realizes you can dance, she is interested and you bail on the girl you brought to the dance. I know I’m supposed to be the bigger person and wish him well, but if he ends up at OSU, that’s going to be tough to do.Buyers remorse. He wanted a OSU offer that did not come until last minute. Over time he rethought his decision. Good luck to the kid
Well, if he ends up at OSU, we probably won’t play against him unless we make the Big 10 Championship game, which means that things would’ve gone very well for us.Exactly, which pisses me off. They are adult aged men getting paid a lot of money. Feel free to fire away.Exactly, which pisses me off. OSU did not make him a recruiting priority. I wonder how he feels about getting up to 265 for tOSU? Some guys don't like to put on that weight. Maybin was like that. It is why he was a true NFL tweener and never really panned out. He didn't want to add weight and wanted to play DE at 235-240.
Tried to keep him . Prolly tampering prior to open periods . But Michigan would say everyone does it including OSU .
