Agree with your post but as someone in education/teaching, the word 'prolly' drives me crazy. You must have teenagers. haha
With bilateral cervical neuropathy, I often times take a shortcut with typing. Too many errors with numb fingers. It sucks. Siri is useless.
I promise to do better.

Yep and voice to text typically has mistakes and errors. I wasn't busting on you, just figured you had teens since I hear that word from them all the time from them

Exactly, which pisses me off. OSU did not make him a recruiting priority. They thought he was too raw and just athletic, but not big enough to develop as an impact DE. Franklin and PSU did make him a priority and he came to PSU, got some college level coaching and flashed. Then, all of a sudden OSU is interested. How convenient. It’s like asking a girl to the prom and she says no. You go with another date and have a good time dancing with her. When the original girl realizes you can dance, she is interested and you bail on the girl you brought to the dance. I know I’m supposed to be the bigger person and wish him well, but if he ends up at OSU, that’s going to be tough to do.
To be fair. OSU offered and brought him to campus at the end of the recruiting cycle (before he came to PSU). The kid always wanted to go to OSU, so when they offered he was conflicted between his initial commitment and the offer of the school he wanted to go to. If his heart is not into being at PSU he did the right thing and transfer.

He is surely talented, but he needs significantly more development to be anything other than a pass rush specialist at this time.

This is like Justin Fields, just a little later in the process. PSU identified a kid who was underranked and got him to commit. Fields happened in his Jr (maybe even soph yr) and gave people more time to swoop in. He was a Georgia kid and always wanted to play for the Dawgs, so it was not a surprise when he jumped ship.

Coleman didnt start taking off until his sr season so it didnt give OSU enough time to work him over.

I don't see this damaging as some, This staff has a great eye for talent and he will be replaced very soon. So long, Chaz...
They do? Call me old fashioned but I prefer to see who they bring in and how they actually play in games before I pass judgement. As a 65 year fan I hope Campbell wins every game and am fully on board. However, Penn State plays in the Big Ten not the Big Eight. The best team Iowa State played this year was Texas Tech which won both times handily.

I think that he portaled after the Villanova game; he basically was an invisible player after that game. My guess is that his ā€œinjuryā€ was a ruse.
What a pathetic and embarrassing post accusing someone of faking an injury.

The thing about Campbell and modern CFB is if he stayed with a huge bag then you have that dynamic in the lockeroom. Campbell would handle it better than BGJ but there is risk. Not saying I didn't want him staying but we will be fine. He probably checked out after Oregon like half the team.

Well he had a concussion so there’s that.
Bad part about concussions that make you sit out that many games, they can reoccur
and end a playing career. I know personally. I also know 2 PS players that it happened to.
Chaz missed a lot of playing time, must of been a bad one.
