The only tickets available are "resale". Doesn't sound like much of a jump. I'll take my chances on the street outside the venue, if I decide to go. I'm about 60-40 going but I'm waiting for a near term weather report.

I don't understand? how could the tickets be re-sale, unless season ticket holders to the stadium are allowed to sell their seats or
were the tickets purchased weeks ago and being resold?

I have no idea. My guess is that the Orange Bowl sold all tickets, except for those being "allotted" to the two yet unknown schools, which is most of the tickets.
I am seeing prices quite a bit lower than that. Prices will likely continue to drop after the weekend. I know it is tough to wait until then if one is traveling in for a game on Thursday. But there appears to be to be a lot of seats available if you can stomach playing a game of chicken with the scalpers.
What gets me are to outrageous fees the ticket sites slap on in addition to the ticket price.

I am seeing a lot of seats in the $350-$400 range in the upper deck. Holding out until Monday or Tuesday looks like a good plan at the moment.
