Very Moses Bryant like, except with National appeal. We're going to have some really explosive smaller guys.

Huge pickup! Ddubs must be the man of he's pulling 5.8s out of LA that have never seen Lincoln. This season is huge for recruiting; we have to win the west. Gbr

Man I hope Jurgens ends up on the DL.

Just my gut, but I think he will. Some analysts though Parella will fill out the class next year entirely within the radius, so I suppose if we clean up, Jurgens might end up at TE.

We might just be fans of a nationally relevant team here sooner rather than later! Really happy to see recruiting picking up.

Guess who goes to school with him in the class of 2017... Anyone hear of any other recruits that go to Hawkins?

I hope this helps with Johnson and Lewis.

I believe the country's top receiver next year is also at Hawkins...he's supposed to be better than Lewis....Dubs has been all over him too.

Fuller posted a SPARQ score of 100.41 at The Opening Regional in Los Angeles in February. That included a 4.41-second 40-yard dash, 4.20-second 20-yard shuttle, 36-foot kneeling powerball toss and 32.1-inch vertical jump.

This is INCREDIBLE news! It's...I mean...after so many years of frustration and irrelevancy, then every now and then just barely toeing the line of being a good football team, to see our assistants start landing commits from nationally ranked players plus the best local talent available is a dream come true. I have no idea how long Riley wants to coach here, but at this rate, I hope he sticks with it until he's 70. This program desperately needed rebuilding and he's doing exactly that. Honestly, I don't see why he wouldn't stick around, as he's in great shape, people are living longer, and he seems to still really enjoy coaching football.

Anyway, on a more serious note, these are exactly the types of players we have to land if we want to challenge Ohio State and Michigan for the title year in and year out.

Gotta love it. Will he be a WR or DB?

I'm going to guess DB. DW was the guy recruiting him and he's rated the #17 DB overall according to one of the Twitter feeds.

That's just a SWAG though, if someone more informed has better info, roll with that.

No disrespect to Penn State or Mich State, and Wisconsin and Iowa in our division. Hell, Minnesota may even be good again with their new hire from Central Michigan. The Big 10 is fast becoming an interesting place...

Marcus Johnson is Greg Johnson's brother. He is a '18 commit to USC right now and probably the best player out of all those Hawkins kids. At least from what I saw on YouTube he is...

edit: Headcard pointed out that Jalen Hall is actually the guy I was watching. Just search his name on YouTube you can see all the Hawkins guys in action.

Eric Fuller, the No. 17 corner in the 2018 class and No. 16 recruit out of California, announced his commitment to Nebraska on Twitter.

Damon Benning and Josh Harvey having a little twitter battle. Harvey says he plans to play WR but Damon Benning thinks he'll end up a DB.

May have to check out the YouTube clips I watched again, but I think he's #1 from Hawkins.

edit: I just checked it out and you're right. Jalen Hall is actually #1 for Hawkins and he is the real deal.

Guys this staff can't recruit. They are just here to collect a paycheck.
I think you are forgetting that nearly half of the original staff is no longer around, in no small part because of poor recruiting effort/results. So I think that those who questioned the recruiting prowess of the original staff at the time, were at least in part proved correct by Riley himself. Now the current staff, that seems to be a different story so far.
