Dundee is one of the most dominate High School wrestling programs in the state of Michigan. If I remember right they won 6 or 7 state championships weight classes in their classification.

They are Division 3 (of 4 Divisions). In the 2021 Michigan (MHSAA) Division 3 Championships, Dundee had 9 kids make the finals, and 8 of them took the championship. 103, 112 (Braeden Davis), 119, 135, 145, 160, 171, & 189 were champions, and 140 took 2nd place. The only weights that didn't feature a Dundee wrestler in the final were 125, 130, 152, 215, and 285.

What a great pick up for PS!! Welcome aboard Braeden! Willie says McGowan is still in play as well. That would certainly solidify our lightweights for the near future. Nadeo has already committed and we have Robbie Howard and Gary Steen on the team already. Loading up....

Also in 2023: Mullen has visited, and we're supposedly in a pretty good place with Shapiro and Barr. We did lose out on Heeg (staying home at Oklahoma).

Tom, thanks for all you do for this Forum and all the hard work you poured into the previous one for so many years. I have a recruiting question for you. Is it normally Cael who visits the recruits or Casey or Cody? Or is it some combination of the three of them? I can't imagine how exciting it would be for the wrestlers and their families to have these coaches come visit them. Thanks again, and may you have a very Merry Christmas! Gaylon

Mulllins ,Shapiro ,McGowan and Barr would be an amazing and talented group to go along with Davis and Nadeo.

True-Wrestling.com did an interesting interview with Braeden Davis after he verballed to PSU. You can listen to it at:

Nice interview. Seems like a really level headed young man. Interesting to see how Cael come in very late in the recruiting process and was able to recruit Braeden to PS even though PS was not in his announced Top 5. Never count Cael out regardless of what you hear.

Seems like a good humble kid. Looking forward to watching Braeden on the mat.

very humble. I've watched videos of him wrestling, and his personality on the mat is much different than what he exhibited in the interview.

That was pretty interesting to hear -- that CS got involved pretty late, and was able to change Braedon's visit plans and ultimately land him.

Yes in deed. Cael to the rescue. “ Hey Dad that was Cael Sanderson “. Similar to the Jordan C recruitment. Cael is simply an incredible human being bar none.

Same as with Josh Barr. It's "every day" NOT "Everyday." C'mon, English teachers! o_O:);)
