You would think the Cats have a very friendly schedule for the next several games but what this season and coach has shown me is that they can lose to anyone. Normally you would say they could also beat anyone but that is not the case. I didn't expect them to beat Bama and to be honest I don't expect them to beat any of the higher level SEC teams and that includes Vandy. I really don't care if they beat the lower rated SEC school (except for the fact that hopefully that will keep them in the NCAAT) because we as fans need to see this team beat a top ranked team.

This team struggled to pull away from Bellarmine. I'm not under any delusions that we'll have a single easy win the rest of the season. With our clunky offense, every game will be a struggle. Hoping for the best, but I've lost faith in anything Pope is doing at this point. He seems lost.

We might be (justifiably) fighting for 3/4 wins Arky and onwards, so need to make the most of this easy stretch. Winning All the home games and LSU on the road would be reason for optimism.

It's an easy stretch that we need to take advantage of. 4/6 should be bare expectation. Taking the road game against LSU to get 5-1 should not be too difficult and will show that the team has sone dignity left.

Slip ups this stretch (esp the home games) will be poor losses on the resume and hard to make up in the final 10 games.

I agree with you that I would bet against going 5-1 but they need to do it if they want to show us anything.

I’m not confident we’ll beat Missouri. They’re 11-3 and just beat Florida. I honestly don’t know if we should be confident in beating Miss St either, they won against Texas.

Are we even good enough for the NIT? That St Johns game might not end up being a very good win for us since they just lost to an 8-6 Providence team. Guess we gotta hope the Indiana win pulls its weight.
