I'm thankful. but with win over USM and UGA we could have 9 wins. then a win in a bowl would make 10.,wow! looking forward to next year.

Very true. However, I'm thrilled for our young team and how came together. Next year could be taking another step toward respectability in the SEC.
We are what we are. We screwed up the first two games of the season and we let one get away against Georgia but right now, we're celebrating the Gov. Cup returning home.
We also could have lost the SC, Vandy, MSU and UL games. These things to even out OP. We are what our record says we are. 7-5 with this bunch is a great season, enjoy it!
Yea, at least 8-4, but i'm thankful for this win today. Makes all of the pain this year worth it.

Just enjoy the best victory the fb team has had since 07. If you want to play the "if's and but's" game....Austin could've missed today, he could've missed against MSU and Vandy could've picked off the four balls Johnson threw right to them....that'd put us 4-8. I'm proud of this team. To start 0-2 and have Corso call us the worst defense ever and end at 7-5 with a chance for 8 is nothing short of remarkable!

Guys, I'm definitely not complaining. lol. just pointing out basically WE are a good enough team we could have been a 9 win team.
We could be 9-3. Not should. We lost two games we led late and won two games on last minute field goals. It was a fun regular season. We could also be 5-7.
I'm curious to see what if any staff changes will be made. I don't think DJ stays the DC. But will he remain on the staff? Has Schlarman secured another year? The bowl money will help this program a lot. Along with the extra practice. Still not completely sold on Stoops. He did a great job today. But needs to win more games like this. I'm sure more experienced players will aid in that.
