This past weekend in Bend Oregon. While this genre of music is not for everyone, especially @laKavosiey-st lion it was a real fun time.

Bend has the nicest amphitheater Tgar has ever visited BTW, just a laid back scene.

It turns out the Revue has been touring for 18 years and has gained quite a following. We took Uber, no need to drive and swerve as it is a bit of a summer party.
Was it Neil Young or The Grateful Dead? No. Was it a blast where you know every lyric? Yes.

big recommend for a little summer vertical sing along fun.

Sail On.

We just shipped son 1s vw bus to Bend, arrived this morning. Apparently these boys are the only folks in the country who rebuild vw bus trans. I’m flying out when it’s done and me n 1 are gonna road-trip/camp it back to echo thru San Fran. I will check the music scene that one nite up there :)
‘thanks as always for the travel pro tips

We spend a week just south near Sun River late July. How is the smoke situation? Last couple of years it has been bad when we've visited

No major fires in Oregon now. Late July can be a whole different story. Not staying in sun river?
My cousin has a beautiful cabin in Deschutes National Forest, right on a little creek. Great escape from Dallas summer heat. Two years ago smoke from fires rolled in while we were at crater lake and we literally could not see 10 feet in front of the car. Last year smoke grounded our outbound flight 24 hours. Love it up there

Very few fires out west. This is today's U.S. Forestry service map. Still spring snow run off and mud season.

Those guys are a ton of fun. And tickets are stupid cheap. A great night out. I’d love to catch them at a beach venue.

Yeah, Mt. Joy, Courtney Barnett and Waxahatchee each certainly have a following and their styles are diverse. Looks like a fun festival With lots of hard working bands trying to make it. It’s amazing how many bands and how much music there is these days.

Prices look reasonable so it gives lots of kids a chance to get out to camp for a weekend and enjoy some music. The vibe will be hippy, the music indie to a certain extent but hard to tell given so many bands that are unknowns.

Have fun. The world is full of diverse music and there is nothing wrong with giving as much of it a try as possible.

Moms and I try to hit one fest a summer. A week ago they posted the schedule so tradition is we plan our days, listening to all the bands, checking the must sees. Great fun. And we give moms as best a 5 star experience as possible with a 30‘ cruise America rv. As soon as we drive off, the festival begins.
next roo that’s any good it’s me, 2 and his boys, men only. That one will be epic, 2s never been.

If $270 is the starting price then 30% off will be 270*.7=189. Over six months that’s $31.50 per. Add my fee and you’ll be paying $272.45 per month. A steal.

Can renting a 30’ RV that has been abused by tailgaters (and who knows else) really be considered 5 Star accommodations? 🙄

Moms deserves better.
