A true road game. THR will claim K is paying every Duke student's way to Vegas.

It is my understanding that we will be playing the gators for the Jimmy V Classic. I know this because my father, a gator, informed me this evening that we will be attending the game, haha.

I will be there for the game vs UNLV, not a true road game but about 2.5 miles from the Thomas and Mack. UNLV will be abysmal next year, with a new coach.

UK I believe is playing the cheats at the new t mobile arena here in Las Vegas next season as well. Might go to that one just to hold up signs stating that Roy knew and that the first enrollments occurred under dean Smyth.

It's the Jimmy V Classic which isn't a tournament, just two games but the winners won't play each other. Duke will play Florida and Arizona State is playing Purdue.

So we'll play Kansas in MSG, the Tip-Off Classic, the ACC/Big Ten Challenge, Florida in MSG, and UNLV in Vegas all before the finals break and all on the road assuming the Challenge game is an away game. That will be a nice challenging start for a relatively young team.

Mohegan Sun & Vegas, guess K wants to lay some bets that we'll win it all.

Okay, here I go reaching for more than is probably there, but if we are playing back in Thornton's backyard, isn't that something the K promised to other recruits in the past as a bit of a concession? Alla playing at Oregon back in Singlar's days? So maybe he is staying??

I can hope, right? I would love to see the young man wearing a Duke jersey next year.

Thornton did play High School ball at Findley Prep in Vegas, however he was born and raised in California. I believe Chase actually grew up in the Vegas area.

Man, I'm glad we are playing another "cupcake" schedule next year, this "alarmingly unathletic" group that Duke will have next season is going to need these easy games to be competitive! :)
I sure hope they can hang in there and make the NCAAT.
Go Duke!!

odds aren't great for him there, they are 2-1 favorites to run the table. I got a piece of that action after IU beat them and 40-0 was still getting 3-1 odds. By the time K gets to Vegas they'll be even money to run the table. Of course its mainly UK fans betting, so you get paid in moonshine and dentist vouchers, but still...
