We beat both Wisconsin and Michigan this month. Now,with some needed rest,we can reach the Sweet Sixteen! I expect the Cats to upset a 1,2, or 3 seed on our way to sweet sixteen parings!

I've seen a few people out here predict an obvious one-and-done. I think they're crazy.

With the right match ups, they can be playing in the second weekend, especially if they're a seven seed.

If they're an 8-seed and win, I don't hate their match up against Gonzaga or Villanova.

If they're a 7-seed, I can live with them playing Baylor or Arizona.

On the other hand, if they're an 8-seed, Joe Lunardi has the Cats playing Arkansas in the first round. I hate that match up while Dayton, VCU and Oklahoma St are the other nines.

We could play with some top teams in the country, but I do not believe Villanova is one of them. That is an experienced team with great guard play and is strong defensively. Couldn't see staying within ten points of them.

Man, I don't disagree with you at all about their guards. However, my thought is Villanova doesn't have ton of size.

If BMac can stay with one those guards defensively, Law and Lindsey shoot par on defense and they make their threes, that could be a game.

But in general, Villanova is one of the main reasons I hope there's a "7" next to NU's name later today.
