Sounds like Thursday heading into Friday is going to be a cluster f*** for the majority of the state. Sounds like it could be like the ice storm of 2003 and 2009. Hard pass on that. I will take snow but not the ice.

Expecting 1/2 inch or more of ice in SW Ohio on Thursday. Authorities are already advising to not even try to venture out in a car on Thursday morning. Travel likely impossible.

Last month the wife and I had a weekend out of town with no kids upended as soon as we got there by a stomach bug.

This weekend my mom was coming from Louisville to watch the kids for an early Valentines getaway to Cincinnati and Ruby’s.

This storm can get f***ed.

I'll just work from home Thursday and Friday and play the horses all weekend. No big deal.

C'mon now. You know ice storms are different. Ice storm - lose power - possibly freeze and die. Hurricane - lose power - maybe sweat a little more than usual.
That’s a big negative on the hurricanes 75, also throw in the snakes and gators to kill you along with no food, water or beer 🍺

I drove from Western Kentucky to Somerset and back today. The last time I did that was December 9th. If this is another ice aggedon, I'm never going back to Pulaski County again.

Another storm like 2003 or 2009, and moving south becomes a very serious thing. There's a reason people flock to Florida in the Winter; winter sucks. I have the means to move, and I'm tired dealing with Winter. I'd rather mow lawns year round than deal with this crap. Five storms in less than a month.
