So does the game get played?

Boston College should have no problem getting to Durham this afternoon/tonight, but it seems very likely that the roads will be awful tomorrow. Would they put everyone up at lodging close enough to walk?

I'm a northerner and 6 inches of snow wouldn't even cancel elementary schools so i'm not sure how colleges down here react?

The game will likely go on as long as Boston College gets in on time. I'm sure they're staying at Washington Duke so any kind of travel wouldn't be an issue.

Do they put the duke team up at hotels before weekend games at home or inclement weather? I assume some players live off campus.

I experienced the 2014 Duke-UNC postponement & as a NY'er it was hysterical. We're shooting jumpers in CIS and head to Chapel hill at noon with one or two inches on the ground. Roads at an absolute standstill with motorists in full panic mode. Took 3+ hours to drive from Duke to Franklin Street in 3 inches of snow! Car wrecks galore despite people driving below 5 miles an hour. Arrive at The Franklin, hit pub across the street and news flashed Duke-UNC game cancelled. So now I'm stuck in CH with no game & wearing full Duke gear. Met some nice UNC people and some not so nice.

This does not jive with THR's version of the story behind the postponement. I wonder which version is more accurate? Hmmm...

I'm in WNC we got 6-8 depending where and the same storm is now over Durham so idk how much they'll end up with. I always find it funny when people say that's not a big deal and laugh at how the south deals with snow. Here we get it pretty regular but down east it's not near as common and they aren't prepaired for snowblile other areas. They have little resources to take care of roads and such and they aren't experienced with driving in it
