Im looking for importers of various industrial goods. Is there a website that I could use to find lists of importers, rather than googling and looking them up one by one?

TIA.

Alibaba?

If you're looking at importers in terms of physically importing there are lists for that.

You can buy an email list for that matter of just about whatever you want.

I got a buddy that has a website that can hook you up with just about anything.

Go to it and type in exactly what you want. He will give you a list of resources targeted to your specific needs.

It's www.google.com

Yes, I've looked at Alibaba, and Google.

I was just wondering if there might be some sort of website that might take a little bit of the legwork (Google) out of it.

I might be able to help. I have ~15 years experience in importing from Taiwan and China as well as time on the ground.

I see. My idea is this-I want to use my marketing/internet sales ability to build an online store/eBay/Amazon to sell industrial products for companies (with US stock) that need market share. Ideally I would start with about 1,000 items for sale, then ramp up to 10,000 and up from there. So my target suppliers are importers and specifically those with more "regional" distribution patterns that would allow me to freely market their product. Any thoughts on where to point me?
