Yeah I can’t wait to be able to get back to work and I’ll probably never say that again. Hope all is well down in the mountains.

my county only has 5 cases. We’re blessed to be pretty isolated in that way even though I-40 comes through.

Please dont look at raw #s. Rural areas have less cases, which is great, but are also at high risk due to less hospital capacity. So much of this is about medical capacity.
I am in NY, hour north, little west of NYC. It is not just the NYC hospitals. Long Island, Rockland County, West Chester County, Orange County health care is really struggling. My neighbor is a PA. one town over from me. They sent her to a hospital in Rockland County. Last week was a "good" week. Only 5 out of 8 of her patients died. The week before, every single one of her patients died.
As for this weekend, Sky answered for me. We must have been married in a previous life.

NC as a whole doesn’t have many cases. Our county is .000076% lol NYC is 2% big time difference. The state of NC as a whole is .004 some places deff have it worse but it’s pretty much places that have extreme travel never the less stay safe

Pis, the #s are low until they aren't. That can change in the course of a week or 2. My main point was that being in a rural area is a blessing and a curse. Blessing is that yo ou guys are already socially distanced for the most part. Cursed in that if it does hit you, smaller hospitals with less beds, less overall access to healthcare, and not always, but quite often, higher rates of preexisting conditions, makes an outbreak that much worse.
