Really could use Newsom and if he says no then we probably need to go to the portal for another MLB. Fulton only seems to be around cause he went to cardinal Mooney and otherwise we only have 4 bodies there.

Fulton is an inside linebacker, and a decent player while still young and learning. Newsom is an outside linebacker. You are right, we need Newsom.

Didn’t realize newsom was an OLB which we need too.

Fulton will be a senior next year and I don’t think he has played a defensive snap in his 2 years yet.

Fulton is a decent player but has been behind Jones, Jackson, Square, and Wallace at the inside positions. Hard to see many snaps playing behind them. Thrower is another good player with the same problem. Kentucky is blessed to be deep at linebacker, but that changes in 2023 unless Stoops gets several linebackers out of the portal. Thrower and Fulton should see the field more next year after Square and Jones are gone.

Not sure Fulton will see much time in 2023 either. Behind Wallace, Jackson and Thrower and I would expect Grant Godfrey to pass him by.

Yeah i remember watching Fulton one game and thought he did well with some good reactions and tackling ability. Got to be able to cover now too though.
