It was a miscarriage of justice, I could easily see how young, beautiful (and unemployed) actresses would swoon over Weinstein, and eagerly have sex in random bathrooms, at a moment's notice. Young beautiful actresses have treated me that way any number of times.
You realize that Weinstein is Einstein plus a W?
It sure speaks to vile nature of hollywood and that some people will literally do anything to get a shot in hollywood. Those that did sleep with him and or did anything with him had to either really be drugged or have the morals of a stray dog.
You are dreaming if you think this is limited to Hollywood. What is terrible about this story, and many other stories of coaches, priests, and the like that are predators, is that when it finally comes to light, so many people will come forward and say they knew about it. There were jokes about Weinstein being told on Saturday Night Live or maybe the Oscars ten years ago, it was a long known rumor he was a predator. On a local level, a priest was accused of abuse at Mary Queen 30 years ago, and I heard one old guy say everybody that went to that school knew to stay the hell away from that "crazy priest" as he put it. Of course, no one ever bothered to go to the local cops either.
If Bernie Sanders got elected president. And Hillary Clinton was his vice president. What would the life expectancy of Bernie Sanders be? I would say that old commie would be pushing up daisies in less than a week.
