Losing to them wasn't the problem. It was just totally pulling a no show.

And a really damn good coach, but Michigan will be a tough one for them, or any one else. I can't believe Cronin didn't play Mara, but Michigan is happy he didn't . He will be a lot better by years end. I will have that game on for sure.
I really think when we have our full team back, we will be very good, and all the negative BS, except for the trolling FH's will calm down a bit.
Time will tell.

Actually they beat UNCheat by 16. We lost to
MSU by 17, but played with almost no effort. Show some effort against the cheats (remains to be seen) and we win.

You know why they say Kentucky fans are the most knowledgeable fanbase? It’s because we can recognize that our team is *** in games we don’t win against tough opponents as opposed to losing in an honorable fashion.

Our defense that game was absolutely pathetic and the offense was mostly hero ball. It’s as bad a game as i’ve watched us play in a long time.

Michigan State did not have to do anything special to work us. They might make one pass and a guy would be wide open with no one with 8-10 feet.

Guys, we didn't "lose" to some good teams. We basically got run out of the gym vs any team with a pulse we played after Purdue. Looked like we didn't belong on the court with them. Got embarrassed.

That's why people are alarmed. For good reason. Roster fails the eye test so far. We assumed we would be a top defensive team and the offense would be good enough to to get by, but maybe end up really good. Neither are true.

Injuries have zero to do with the softness, lack of effort, hustle, and focus as a team. "Getting healthy" won't fix that.

UNC is absolutely a must win! No reason at all for them to come into Rupp and win. Pope needs to play the players who give us the best chance to win. Screw preseason promises and NIL…put the best players on the floor and get it done!

MSU's guys were basically giggling all game long amongst each other. Everything came extremely easy for them. They didn't have to work for anything they got. I was disgusted and I still can't believe our players played that way and seemed to be okay with it.
The last part of that sentence is what concerns me.

UNC is significantly less talented than MSU and especially Louisville. They are basically a one player team, it’s no guaranteed win but 8 times out of ten we win against them at RUPP. We can play C basketball and beat them. We can’t against better teams, if we play a good game we win by double digits.

So was Georgetown and they dog walked us.

"if we play a good game", we'll no sh*t. We haven't done that yet against any remotely good team since the Purdue exhibition. There is no real results to support your take. Some evidence for mine.

Hope you're right. I'm just calling balls and strikes from the games so far. We have been bad.

It's hyperbole for sure, I'm pretty frustrated and embarrassed at our play so far.

"Just focus and effort." Again, sure. Except we haven't had that against any team yet that we didn't just outclass massively in talent/athleticism so far. If we had that we wouldn't have gotten embarrassed several times so far.

Can Kentucky play mean, hard, nasty. I have my doubts. Because our coach, and I like him, poops rainbows and ice cream.

The problem with Carolina is they may play a very disciplined game. Not too many turnovers, good rebounding, a lot of close in shots. maybe some easy break away layups.
They will make KY play well to beat them. Might be a tall task.

So if it’s a good team it’s okay to lose because we’re not a good team . At least we’re supposed to be a good team to a much better team than Michigan state “title contenders” haven’t been title contenders since monk and fox and that’s a real fact . This isn’t a 22 million dollar team not even close. Crazy you got average players on this team besides two and ones on the bench .

Seth Trimble was stretching in the weight room using the Lat Pull machine. It fell on him, pinning him and breaking his arm. It took 4 players to lift the machine.

He's the only returning rotation player from last year. He's our best defender. He's one of the top rebounding guard in the country. He's the only guard on our roster capable of penetrating the lane.
