Guys, we didn't "lose" to some good teams. We basically got run out of the gym vs any team with a pulse we played after Purdue. Looked like we didn't belong on the court with them. Got embarrassed.

That's why people are alarmed. For good reason. Roster fails the eye test so far. We assumed we would be a top defensive team and the offense would be good enough to to get by, but maybe end up really good. Neither are true.

Injuries have zero to do with the softness, lack of effort, hustle, and focus as a team. "Getting healthy" won't fix that.
Lowe and JQ being out are copes. We need rim protection, which JQ will provide. But this team has many other issues. Lowe is fragile as glass. Even if he comes back, I don't trust him, to be able to withstand a full SEC slate. The SEC is a very athletic conference.

Kinda reeks of excuses. Which it is.

I thought MSU was terrific team. Mature physical rebounding and shot it great. Good at pg and their bigs. National title contender.

Seth Trimble was stretching in the weight room using the Lat Pull machine. It fell on him, pinning him and breaking his arm. It took 4 players to lift the machine.

He's the only returning rotation player from last year. He's our best defender. He's one of the top rebounding guard in the country. He's the only guard on our roster capable of penetrating the lane.
That is wild.
