Crowd in Rupp tonight was crazy and everyone was standing for much of the game. Even the ladies in the Lowers our their knitting down just for you guys who complain about Rupp all the time. We just needed a coach who would bring the excitement back. Rupp was awesome again tonight or did you couch potatoes at home think your TV coverage of the game still sounded lame? This long time fan was up and yelling all game and so was the older gent sitting next to me. Sorry for the vent, but I'm sick of the posters who never go to the games but put Rupp crowds down all the time. They just don't know, if they're not in the arena. It was crazy loud in there again tonight.

It sounds nothing like what it sounds like on TV when you're there. TV never does it justice. Although tonight, it was rockin' even on TV.

It was a great atmosphere tonight. Loved it. Got as loud as I’ve heard this year when Noah knocked down those 3’s.

I've often said that I love and appreciate the Rupp crowd. 20,000+ passionate and knowledgeable fans that are focused on the game. No need to bounce and chant for two solid hours. But when the action on the floor warrants it, there's no place louder or rowdier. Last night was a prime example.

Most of those complaining have never attended a game in Rupp ever.

It's time for people to change the narrative.

Rupp has been ELECTRIC for every single game this season, and games like Florida, Tennessee, Alabama, Arkansas, etc. were (honest to god) some of the best environments you could ever see for a college basketball game.

Rupp is ELITE. It's a top-3 home environment when it's on, and it's been on for every single home game this year, and I expect that to continue.

Ravech, Dykes, Bilas, etc. have all made statements this year at different times about Rupp giving atmospheres this year like they have never seen before in CBB.

Thanks for the positive post.

And based on the current track record, we'd like to see UT in the SECT AND in the NCAAT. Good luck the rest of the way.
Lol - my wife would like that - she's a UK girl. We usually watch the UT vs UK games on different TVs. Otherwise, we watch all of the UK and UT games together, along with any other good games. And we both hate Duke BB.

I think some folks in another thread were upset there was quite a bit of orange in the lower bowl. So season ticket holders sold their seats. Now I could understand if UK was playing Cupcake St or Directional U last night, but TENNESSEE!!!! Now I know the flu, Covid, and about a dozen other viruses are going around and if you resale your tix online you don't know who's buying them. But come on....it's effing TENNESSEE!!!

There was also a snowstorm that was heading that way and UK even cancelled classes, so a lot of the blue hairs might not want to travel to Lex in that.

I actually didn't see a ton of orange though to be honest.

Just a few here and there. It’s that ugly *** color that stands out.
