Be sure to stand around and film it like that moron instead of getting you and your wife to safety.

this wind is crazy. 80 degrees to like 40 or something.

I read this dudes bio. Crazyass ****. So he's upstairs in the damn window. Bam! Two places the weather balls tell you not to be. Honestly I wonder what his thought process was as he just stood there filming this: "well I spose I'll wait to see Pete and Hank in the rowboat, say 'Hi' and head down to the root cellar.

I mean maybe he thought it would shift direction at the last moment -- but damn you have to give him props for staring that thing down. Probably the best closeup tornado video ever.

All this time, his wife is downstairs during this, and SHE is the one who ends up dying. Damn.

I had forgotten about that video. That dude wanted OUT. Mother Nature was like, "nah."

There is a tornado video from Iowa where the guy is in yard filming. It comes up within a couple of hundred feet of him and turns at last second. Takes his neighbor's house leaving his.

It is crazy to think a lot of people pay no attention to warnings and just assume the storm will not get out of hand. I guess that mindset will always work until it doesn't. Watching that video creeps me out. I couldn't imagine watching that while looking out a window with it being as close as it was. Did it destroy the guy's house as well? Noticed someone mentioning his wife dying. So sad.

Speaking from experience, those guys were f'n idiots in how casual they were. Yes, its good to be calm so you have a clear head when something like this is happening to you, but to stand outside that close to a strong tornado (any tornado) and take cover in a freaken screened in porch as it is less than 200 yards away from you was a death wish. They were VERY lucky Mother Nature spared them at that moment because if they took a direct hit they likely would have been killed.

Been very lucky to never be in the direct path of a tornado but have seen 3 of them at a distance in my life and its not something I ever want to have coming towards me.
