Were the OC and WR positions removed from the UK job posting?

They evidently time expired and were not extended. I would not be surprised if the new OC is known by game time tomorrow.

The postings were listed until 12/24. They simply "expired", per se. I'm sure it's a mere formality anyway.

This, pretty much. It seemed well documented that Stoops had his guy picked out about a week ago, and that theme never even began to change.

It's state law that the job has to be posted for 7 days.
Are we the only state in the union with this asinine law? Seems like most schools can name replacements within days of a coach leaving. We have to post the stupid jobs so every Tom, Dick and Harry can throw their name in the hat. I wonder how many times that little waiting period allowed another school to come in and snatch a hire out from under us that we weren't aware of.

Honestly, I'm not sure if we are or not. But a lot of times, especially when it comes to coaches, the 7 day waiting period is just a formality.

It has never effected getting who we wanted. If Stoops has his man before the period is up, I guarantee you they are already negotiating contracts ad everything. Stoops does not have to wait to talk to people and even offer the job until the 7 days is up. It's all a formality.
