If UK lets that guy go anywhere after he retires, they are idiots! The guy was a tremendous recruiter and motivator as a player at UK - he would be lights out as a coach!
I agree. He talked to Ware before the South Carolina game and Ware played his best game of the season. The whole defense did.
No doubt. If he wants to continue leading and teaching, staying connected to football, I hope they find a place for him on the staff at UK before he seeks opportunity elsewhere. It would be HUGE to have a guy like him around the program, to say nothing of the fact I am sure he could handle the day to day responsibilities as well as anyone.
I know - Ware said he had no idea who he was but he was ready to run through a wall listening to him. I would hire him directly onto the staff as soon as Wes wants to coach - no GA, QC assistant or ******** like that. Fire whoever is the LB coach and hire Wes.
