But one thing Stoops has always done is we rotate so many positions on the team...about the only spots we don't rotate are QB and Jon Toth takes all snaps at center.

- We rotate DL which is common
- We rotate LBers which isn't as common
- We rotate all 4 DBs which most teams don't do. You'll Harmon, Randolph, McWilson, etc.. all play snaps in regular rotations
- We rotate OL spots which isn't common
- We over-rate RB...Boom constantly gets less than 20 carries and he's our best player IMO.

One player that I was surprised didn't get subbed in was Kash. I think he deserved a chance. Courtney Love didn't impress me at all.

When teams watch the game film of the 2nd half, they will instruct their QB not to even throw the ball. Just hand it off and that will be good enough. After their RB's get tired, they can let the punter run the ball and he should be able to get 4-5 yards on each carry. Even if one of players get a hand on him, they can't tackle him to the ground.

I've never seen guys struggle so much to get off blocks. Looked content to just stay engaged with the O-line.

Kash was in on special teams. Anyone expecting true freshmen to go in and dominate doesn't now SEC football. There's a learning curve.

As for Love, wasn't he hyped all throughout the spring and fall camp? He is serviceable I guess, but I was also not impressed.

#34 though, he was all over the place.

That seems about right. The coaches were pumping Love up throughout camp and bashing Jones. But during the game the exact opposite happened. Seems about right. I don't know if the coaches know what the hell they're doing. They don't even play the guys that give them the best chance to win. Cole Mosier at LT?? LOL. Put Young in and let him learn. Mosier does not have the foot speed to keep SEC DE's off Barker's back side. But our idiot coaches will keep trotting him out there knowing he physically can't do what he needs to do and Barker won't survive the season. Then it will get real ugly because we don't have a backup QB.

Was it not Love who had the hit of the game causing a fumble on the 1 in a goal line stand?

If we had gotten that fumble( and we should have) it would of changed the game and gave the D confidence and gotten them off the field.

Instead we do not get the fumble from that great important play by Love. And USM sneaks in on 4th down.

If we had gotten that fumble Love would of been a hero today. Instead we have fans questioning if he can play.

Love played fine. That huge hit was big time in a crucial point of that game. Unfortunately no one else woke up to get that fumble. Love did his job. He showed power and speed coming around that corner.

Love is a bit slow of feet...really was a step behind in the spring game and So Miss game was more of the same. I'm sure some of it will come with getting acclimated to his reads, etc.. but he isn't fast regardless.
