We did play OSU better outside of the last 5 minutes of the 1st half.

OU lost by 10 to Houston but got the 1st quarter lead then faded.

This would've been a great year to play OU!

Our special teams were better than OUs special teams versus Houston. (Never thought I'd ever be able to say that). And I think our D did a little better job containing Ward. And our offense was certainly more efficient than OUs was versus Houston.

Just to clarify, but OU played Ohio St at home in Norman on a clear night under perfect conditions and we played them on the road at Columbus in the rain.
Let's stop extrapolating that. Ohio State kicked the crap out of us in the 2nd half. Not sure if it was motivation and being down after the late 1st half turnovers or we were just wearing down against the hosses on their OL or a combination of both. Ohio State didn't really take control of their game with OU until the 4th quarter. ESPN/ABC tweeted that Wisconsin was the only team to keep Ohio State out of the endzone ion the 1st half this past Saturday. However, we all know that we kept Ohio State's offense out of the endzone in the 1st half in our game. Heck, we play conservatively at the end of the 1st half, that score is 6-3 at half. BUT, I am also glad that Monty was playing to win the game. Evidenced by those play calls at the end of the half, going for it on 4th and goal, etc. I am not going to get on Monty for trying to win the game. We've had coaches in the past who would never believe we could win those games and would call plays accordingly to minimize the other teams opportunities.
