Who could imagine to lose Pardon for 8 games and Lindsey for 4 games to be in this position NU is in. One win and we should be safely in the tournament. I think of the years that we would be lucky to hope we could make the NIT at this time (never possible if we lost leading scorer for 4 games and starting big man). The depth and future of the program are exciting. Chris is building something special at NU. Team as many have said will be even deeper next year. Sorry for repeating what many have already said but feels good to write after a long Monday.

Good thoughts, good hopes, good future.

Seems like just yesterday when Coach Collins was being introduced at our season opening major sport event in Northern California.

Completely agree. This season was cursed from the get-go with the injuries to Rap and Falzon. We're not there yet, but are closer than we have ever been. If this team makes the tourney.... then this will be a near-miraculous season.

If all four of those guys are healthy next year, and we pull in a transfer and guard, look out! Team to beat in Big Ten West Division for sure!

Also should make Collins a realistic coach of the year candidate.

Let's put it this way.... I sure can't think of another team that could win the Big Ten West in basketball next season.

I - and many others, I'd think - have never been even interested in NU basketball until CCC showed up. Now I'm anxious for EVERY GAME!

Taking NU to the tournament for the first time ever should make CCC a strong candidate for Coach of the Year, an achievement equal to GB's in football.

It's exciting to wonder how much farther CCC can take the team. The team next year will surely be stronger.

GO CATS!
