I feel for KAT - it's gonna be hard for NY to come back from that.
Yup they rely on Brunson way way too much. You can never count the Pacers out. Even down 30 I’ve seen them come back multiple times. They keep scoring. Haliburton is the most overlooked player in the league. Steven A Smith just dissed him before the game and he gave them another dagger to send it to OT. He even gave them the Reggie choke. Ouch.Knicks gonna Knick.
Brunson is usually great, but he cost them this game down the stretch. Just sloppy play, over dribbling, trying to play hero ball.
Haliburton vs SGA would be a great finals match up.Pacers and OKC in the finals IMO
Knicks gonna Knick.

It’s not over yet but I felt like Indiana was playing the best ball overall and the Knicks can’t let them win games like this.Pacers and OKC in the finals IMO
I have plenty of times even against us but it was quite the bounce. Usually it’s a three ball that does that and he was just in Front of the line. Reminds me of those threes that are a couple feet too long but the hit the square and die right in the middle of the goal. That last shoot in regulation was the craziest shot I have ever seen in a basketball game. I have never seen a shot bounce that high and go in. Never
9 points in 8 seconds was the craziest thing I have seen on the court ever.Reggie Miller low-key had to be loving that late meltdown. Those Pacers-Knicks games in the 90s with him talking **** to Spike Lee were legendary.
I think they've been the hottest team in the league since New Year's. They just never got a shred of love cause they aren't one of the sexy darlings of the NBA. The only talk was about Haliburton being overrated. Completely flew under the radar. The Pacers are crazy good. If not for the slow start to the season they probably would have challenged the Cavs for the 1 seed.
They are seriously that good.
Those morons who called Haliburton overrated sure do look stupid. They always looked stupid though.
They didn't lift. They ran out of gas. This Pacers team isn't going to out talent you, but they will out work you. It's a fun, relentless team to watch.I'm pulling for the Pacers, but I got to say:
Knicks did not choke.
They lifted off the accelerator before the Finish Line.
NBA in May/June is a ton of fun.
Yea, Brunson was not going to let anyone else win it for the Knicks. I know he’s “Mr Clutch” or whatever, but I don’t trust him to be the lead guy on a title winning team.Knicks gonna Knick.

Doesn't compare to what we are seeing in the NBA right now. I will watch Kentucky and a select few guys in college but there are too many missed wide open shots and just bad basketball in general in college. NBA is firing on all cylinders right now.I can't wait until college basketball is on again.
"In an anonymous player poll conducted by The Athletic, Tyrese Haliburton was voted as the league's most overrated player by 14.4% of the responding players. This means that about 13 out of the 90 players who voted for "Most Overrated" in the poll chose Haliburton. The poll, which involves NBA players voting anonymously, is conducted annually."It was the NBA players who voted him the most overrated, not the analysts
First team in history to ever lose a lead like that. The Curse of Reggie Miller strikes again. NYK up 9 with 58 seconds to go in the 4th. 98.8% win probability. What a colossal collapse.
You are right! No doubt they were gassed. That is the headline. They didn't lift. They ran out of gas. This Pacers team isn't going to out talent you, but they will out work you. It's a fun, relentless team to watch.
If you were Thibs, would you run the offensive through KAT? He's so versatile and an effective passer. I'd start with going to KAT. Almost seems like it would make their guards more effective on cuts and driving.I think the biggest cause for the loss was really just Brunson crapping down his pants, and some weird slips by him and the Knicks. I do think they were gassed at the end, but they got to a 12-14 pt lead and then seemed to sort of half-coast and half-let Brunson try to be some hero. I feel like they lost because of their own undoing more than anything.

Yeah, I thought both teams looked good in the first. The second half it felt like the Knicks were in control... until. I really expected the Knicks to win game one, mostly due to the energy in the building. I was ready to chalk up game one and really see how game two went to get a good feel of the series. Will be interesting to see how they respond. Will be interesting to see how the Garden responds if they come out flat in game 2.The odd thing is, Brunson usually doesn't blow it like this. He's one of the most clutch players in the NBA. IDK if last years series got in his head, or what. But... what the Knicks were doing for the first 46 minutes worked. Game was over. So idk if I change the approach.. but you do need to pull Brunson aside and be like "You can't let this get in your head, you can't try and win this on your own".
Yeah, they are the best players on the planet, and playing a fast paced game with spacing, lightning fast ball movement and incredible skill and athleticism. I enjoy watching the Cats and ETSU play, and I'll watch bits and pieces of other games, but college basketball pales in comparison if you're only looking at the quality of play. There are people who have trouble admitting that, for whatever reason(s).Doesn't compare to what we are seeing in the NBA right now.
