Add Dawkins, Dinkins, Rucci and Shelton to the opt-out list for tomorrow. ☹️ I guess it’ll be too cold tomorrow? Because that’s how soft some of these Franklin players are.
Boohoo. We need players who talk tough like you. My guess is that any one of those soft guys...if so inclined, could rip your limbs off and beat you to death with them...and not work up a sweat. Good lord.

- Injury free game for players
- Young OL step up and fill gaps. Will we see Goodman and Alciene (Freshman OTs?)
- Youngsters receive lots of PT for CMC and staff adequate game film for evaluations
---- Young fill ins play physically and aggressively
- Younger DTs, LBers, RBs and WRs establish themselves
- Limited snap counts for those who are draft eligible but elect to play
- "W" would be bonus but game PT for next year's players more important.
No expectations, just going to enjoy one last game and a win would be the Icing on the cake to start the new MC era.

Wow. Let me guess - you have opted out of AA and are into late night drinking on a Friday?

Amazing how the goalposts have been moved from “players should get paid” to “players should get paid and not show up for work “

and who decides that these games are “meaningless”? I guess Joe Paterno’s bowl record is meaningless too, since those were nothing but “glorified scrimmages “. Right? Joe won 409 games, 90% of which were meaningless, correct?

only 12 schools make the CFB playoffs a year. So all the 100+ teams that do not make it had meaningless seasons filled with scrimmages

I get it if you’re a sure fire 1st round pick. But most of these PSU players won’t sniff an nfl roster or most likely practice squad. They have one more opportunity to play organized football where they actually start, actually matter, but they say no, I don’t love it enough.

and don’t even with the whole “but career ending injury “ nonsense. Career ending injuries in bowl games compared to how many players compete in them are very rare. Career ending injuries in the regular season are rare.

I have never been so disinterested in a Penn State bowl game in my entire life. Looks like some of the players are even more disinterested than I am. They pretty much have said “I got my money, so bye, see ya later.” These type of people are never going to be successful in life. And for a good part of the season they have played like the losers they are.

The Penn State football program has to go back to the roots Joe Paterno put into place. Focus the recruiting on high character kids. On kids that want an education. On kids that will work hard. Combine those attributes with some talent, and you'll have something.

Honestly, I hope everyone who is not planning on being on the team next year opts out of these bowl games. Give reps to the 2s and see what you’ve got for next year. Why waste practice and game reps on guys graduating? So we can show off our fancy pinstripe bowl trophy in the trophy case?
