Then how about the injuries of Jordan Smallwood and Courtney Garnett DL, how are they progressing any information.

In my mind, the most unbeatable defense is what I've always called "The Alabama Stack".

Line up all 11 players one behind the other, starting at NG. Then, just before the opposing QB calls for the hike, our defense spreads out in a pattern known only to our players. That could be by height, or by jersey number, or alphabetically. It would toooootally confuse the QB because he would have no clue what was coming.

40% of the time, it works 100% of the time.

Alabama Stack: With the speed of receivers these days, 3 or 4 of them would be 30 yards downfield by the time the DBs spread out to try to cover them. You did say the defense moves "just before" the q-back says "Hike!" Many Big XII-2 teams would average at least 50 points a game against that defense.

Whatever it is, it has got to be better than the train wreck we saw last year. First three games, they looked like world-beaters, but starting with the texas game and throughout the rest of the season, the defense was pitiful.
