What Do I Do?

I am open to suggestions for any ideas of what to do on this site until the USC game. I check this board 5-6 times a day to see what is going on with Husker FB -- to have some fun. There is not a lot of fun to be had right now. Other Husker sports can't fill the void enough (although I love, VB, BB, and wrestling). So, let me know if anything I can do.

I have not given up hope and optimism for this season to qualify for a bowl game. My sphere of influence on which coaches to fire at/before the end of the season is nil, so it doesn't give me great joy to join in those conversations. (I have thoughts about that, but who really cares what I think as my opinions mean squat).

As I've said before, us Husker fans are stuck in a long time dysfunctional marriage to this program.

We've adorned her with the very best of everything money can buy. The program teases us with occassional favors pleasing to both the eyes and emotions. We think, finally, we've turned the corner into a normal relationship.

Then just as quickly, the program slides back into the dysfunctional entity that it is.

We all want to love the program, the program just won't love us back.

Pretty simple…watch the volleyball team. They are well coached, play with passion more times than not, having another great season pushing towards a conference championship, while striving for another national championship.

It’s on BTN+ at 7pm. First 3 games are on that and then we face Saint Mary’s in Sioux Falls on the 17th on BTN and its regular TV from there on out.

I wasn’t impressed with the exhibition game last Sunday but that hasn’t typically been much of an indicator. The main complaint of this team by far will again be lack of athleticism.

I think they should be pretty good. Lots of returning starters and NCAA qualifiers. Ridge Lovett and Brock Hardy will be the headliners. Should be a pretty good dual team. Not sure about NCAA finish. Their returning lineup would indicate top 10, and good chance at top 5. All depends on winning those toss up matches, especially in the early rounds.

Despite being a fan, I have never attended a match in person. Thinking of going to Lincoln on Friday for opening night.

Six years ago, there was a great thread on this board about wrist watches. One thing led to another and now I'm an avid watch hobbyist/collector. I now spend 95% of my online time on a watch forum. It's so much more fun and healthy than anything having to do with Husker football.

What do our prospects in wrestling look like this year?

Very good. Pre-season ranked 4-6 depending on who you look at. Biggest problem is they are wrestling in the B1G. Every team but one (OK State) that is ranked ahead of them is also in the B1G.

I went to a Nebraska dual against Minnesota a few years ago in Lincoln. It was a pretty good time. I would go again.
