I fall between BB and GenX. Whoever came up with the categorical icons basically left out the years from around 1968-1978.

I still think Generation Y could be subdivided because there was so much technological advancement during that period. If you started high school in 1970 compared to 1990 things weren't THAT much different. But if you started high school in 1995 compared to 2005 things were completely different.

Hey man, quit stealing my social security money
Not there yet but, will be in less than four years. However, no plans to start drawing for another 8 years when I hit 66. Still need to work to support family and build more for the future. Too stupid early on to prepare for retirement and am now paying the price.

I thought it was sort of humorous that they listed 3-D movies under Gen Z when we Boomers actually had them back in the 50s, and they were technologically similar to today's and quite popular - don't know why they disappeared for 60 years.

??

It says if you're born 1946-64 you're a boomer, and 1965-79 you're Gen X.....

I get that. I meant the indicators don't adequately reflect the years between 67-75. Though I'm a boomer...it seems those people my age are in a gray area that's not reflected well by the given iconic examples. As a teen during the 70's, none of the music groups listed on the GenX list would have been among those teens would have listed.

Exactly. I never even got on the internet until I was in 6th grade. We didn't have a home computer till 7th grade. How do I relate with someone who had iPhones at that age?
