What Happened to the Offense in 2nd half.

sure the defense sucked but to those who saw the game, what happened to the offense in the second half?

What did Barker do in the second half?

Couldn't watch the game in Taiwan.

But this is what I don't understand. Even if they score, UK gets the ball back and go again on offense. No excuse for the offense to freeze up simply because the defense can't stop anyone. Just keep doing what gave you 30plus points. Run game or not, you still get the ball back. Sounds to me the offense failed as well.

We made mistakes in the 2nd half we did not in the 1st. QB fumble instead of taking a sack, penalties, desperation heave in the 3rd qtr resulting in an int etc.

I think we had one drive that made it to the red zone. Barker fumbled the ball. He seemed rattled after that.

Barker hasn't been good with adversity. He went 1-13 to close out the Louisville game and had three turnovers all in him in. Second half. All the praise he received first half was justified. But The negative impact also needs to be mentioned.

No adjustments, conservative play calling thinking 18 points was a safe lead, bad game and time management by Stoops, etc. Also the defense didn't get off the field.

Don't buy the fools gold and believe the offense was good in H1. 4 three and outs an alley screen TD and two other TDs where USM defender got beat.

USM played 5 DBs and stopped our run with 6, despite the fact we stayed in formation with 7. The math does not add up. Stopped pass with +1 and stopped run with -1.

You can tell from play calling UK was trying to establish the run game with so many first down run calls...UK simply couldn't run the ball and then when in passing situations...the edge pass rushers were getting better push than they did in first half and Barker didn't make quick decisions either.
