Yeah I was there and was hoping that was the sign. Maybe had we hung in there he could have played some. I would rather play him tonight against a nobody instead of the following three games.
When this team gets spanked with JQ playing then the fan base will lose all hope. He isn’t a 1 man show. I hope whatever plan Pope has to right this thing works.
He's not nearly the offensive player OT was...but he's worlds better defensively. OT was a pretty awful defender, TBH. The only thing he did well on the defensive end was rebound. JQ will guard the P&R type stuff tons better and is probably (when healthy) reasonably close to the same type of rebounder.
Pretty sure Matt Jones said he would play in the St Johns game. I think that was on KSR on Monday, maybe.
